The Reach feature allows parent companies to manage lead distribution across a hierarchy of child companies. From the Reach tab, you can view and control the structure, enable or disable reach, and quickly navigate to user management pages.
Viewing the Company Hierarchy
From the Reach tab, you’ll see a list of all companies within your hierarchy.
- Each child company is shown under its parent.
- A status indicator confirms whether Reach is enabled or disabled.
- You can click View Users beside any company to jump directly to that company’s Users page.
Enabling and Disabling Reach
- Reach is controlled at the child company level.
- To disable reach for a child company, navigate to that company’s Reach page and toggle reach off.
- When reach is disabled, that company’s agents will no longer receive leads from its parent.
Managing Availability
Availability can be managed at two different levels:
- Child Company Availability (from the Parent’s User Page)
- On the parent company’s Users page, you’ll see the child companies listed.
- Toggle Available to control whether that entire child company can receive leads.
- Sales Agent Availability (from the Child’s User Page)
- Open the Users page for the child company.
- Each individual sales agent has their own availability toggle.
- This allows fine-grained control over who is eligible to receive leads.
Managing Reach Tags and Inherited Tags
Tags allow you to add extra layers of qualification for routing leads within a reach structure.
Adding Tags to Child Companies
- From the Parent Company’s Users page, select the child company.
- Add tags directly to the child company record (e.g., “tag 1,” “tag 2,” “tag 3”).
- These tags will automatically inherit down to all agents within that child company.
Inherited Tags for Agents
- When viewing a sales agent in a child company’s Users page, you’ll see two sets of tags:
- Direct Tags: Tags applied specifically to that agent (e.g., “Commercial,” “High Value”).
- Inherited Tags: Tags that flow down from the parent or child company.
- Inherited tags cannot be removed directly from the agent’s profile. To update them, you must edit the tags on the parent or child company.
This design ensures consistent tagging across the hierarchy while still allowing customization at the agent level.
Quick Summary
- Reach tab: View structure, jump to user pages.
- Child Reach page: Enable or disable reach.
- Parent user page: Manage child company availability.
- Child user page: Manage individual sales agent availability.
This setup provides both high-level control at the company level and detailed management at the agent level, ensuring flexibility and precision in lead distribution.
